About

Belgian soprano Charlotte Wajnberg is a laureate of the prestigious Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition 2018 where she also won the Audience Prize (Klara/Canvas), which launched her international opera career.

Equally passionate about the Lieder art, Charlotte has been invited by legendary soprano Renée Fleming to participate in Carnegie Hall's 2023 SongStudio.

She was internationally praised for her performances of 20th century repertoire, and especially for the Second Viennese School. Her interpretations of contemporary music have been widely acclaimed. With the Brussels Philharmonic, she recorded the world premiere of the orchestral song cycle The intimacy of distance under the baton of composer Robert Groslot for the label Naxos.
